Genus Hyphantrophaga Townsend, 1892

– Exorista angustata van der Wulp, 1890: 70. Type data: holotype male (BMNH). Type locality: Mexico, Guerrero, Chilpancingo.

blanda (Osten Sacken, 1887).– British Columbia, Washington, Ontario to Prince Edward Island, south to Arizona and Florida (S&A, 1965), Manitoba (CNC).
– Tachina (Exorista) blanda Osten Sacken, 1887: 162. Type data: holotype male (MCZ). Type locality: unknown (Massachusetts according to Townsend, 1941: 266, and S&A, 1965: 1093). Type host: Vanessa cardui (Linnaeus) [published as Cynthia cardui], Nymphalidae.
– Exorista blanda proserpina Williston, 1889: 1919. Type data: holotype, sex unknown (whereabouts unknown). Type locality: unknown. Type host: Erynnis brizo (Boisduval & LeConte) [published as Thanaos brizo], Hesperiidae.
– Exorista hypenae Coquillett in Howard, 1897: 47. Nomen nudum.
– Exorista boarmiae Coquillett, 1897: 95. Type data: lectotype female (USNM), by fixation of Aldrich & Webber, 1924a: 39 (mention of "type" is regarded as a lectotype fixation, see Sabrosky, 1983: 254). Type locality: USA, Massachusetts, Cotuit (see Townsend, 1908: 98, Sellers, 1943: 22, and Sabrosky, 1983: 254). Type host: Alabama argillacea (Hübner), Noctuidae (host cited by Townsend, 1908: 98, as Aletia argillacea).

Type locality: USA, New Mexico, Las Cruces. Type host: Hyphantria cunea (Drury), Arctiidae.
