PARADMONTIA Coquillett, 1902b: 106. Type species: Paradmontia brevis Coquillett, 1902, by original designation.


brevis (Coquillett, 1902).– Manitoba to Iowa, and from Ohio to Maryland south to Florida (O'Hara, 2002).
– Paradmontia brevis Coquillett, 1902b: 106. Type data: lectotype male (USNM), by fixation of Townsend, 1939a: 350 (mention of "Ht male" by Townsend is regarded as a lectotype fixation; though Coquillett mentioned a "type," he did not indicate whether it was the male or female on the same pin). Type locality: USA, Florida, Biscayne Bay.
