Guelph Food Panel Research Makes Headlines

Research by University of Guelph professors on how some consumers have changed their eating and buying habits after the listeriosis outbreak is making headlines around Canada. A story about the work by Profs. John Cranfield and Spencer Henson of the Department of Food, Agricultural and Resource Economics appeared yesterday on CityNews television. Segments also aired on CTV national news, CBC news and on numerious radio stations, and articles appeard in several newspapers including the National Post and Vancouver Province.

The professors used the Guelph Food Panel to survey consumers regarding their awareness, concerns and changes in consumption patterns following the outbreak. More information
