U of G At Ontario Universities' Fair

September 27, 2012 - Campus Bulletin

The University of Guelph and the University of Guelph-Humber took part in the Ontario Universities' Fair Sept. 28 to 30 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event attracted more than 130,000 prospective students, parents and educators.

The fair is the largest off-campus recruitment event of the year. It gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to visit displays, attend presentations, collect handbooks and have their questions answered by representatives from all 21 Ontario universities.

Staff from admission services and student service areas from both U of G and Guelph-Humber were on hand during the fair to answer questions and give presentations. Faculty, staff and students from both campuses will also share their expertise and knowledge with prospective students.

Fair visitors are primarily senior high school students and their families and teachers and guidance counsellors from the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

U of G encourages students to sign up with their email addresses to receive admission updates, e-newsletters and event invitations.

The Ontario Universities’ Fair ran from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
