Community of Practice

A Growing Community

Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) practitioners are members of a growing community.

KTT has been an integral component of the OMAFRA-U of G Partnership since 2008, building on a long history of agricultural extension in the Province of Ontario.

KTT practitioners are now found in a growing number of fields, from medicine to agriculture, business to public policy. These individuals share a committed to both accelerating the movement of evidence into practice, and integrating end-users into the research process.

KTT Community of Practice

The KTT Community of Practice (CoP) was established to share best practices, develop new skills and connect with fellow knowledge translation students and professionals.

Community members include the University of Guelph, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Gambling Research Exchange Ontario, Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Water Network.

Our CoP is an informal group committed to bridging the gap between best available KTT evidence and practice. We are focused on sharing resources and ideas to create a strong community and advance research in KTT.

Interested in joining the CoP? Contact our KTT staff for more information.

Upcoming Events

The KTT Community of Practice holds a series of workshops and events throughout the year to support its mandate of sharing best practices.
