Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) Funding Program

In order to accelerate the transfer of research knowledge into use a funding program was developed and administered through a collaborative process between KTT staff at the University of Guelph and at OMAFRA. Through this funding program, five calls for proposals were held between May 2010 and 2015.

KTT Funding Program Objectives

  1. To advance the effective and targeted synthesis, dissemination and exchange of agriculture, food, and rural research knowledge to relevant knowledge-user audiences.
  2. To expand the networking and collaboration activities among the U of G's research community and a broad range of partners and stakeholders, including OMAFRA.
  3. To expand the knowledge base and best practices for successful knowledge translation and transfer implementation.
