Knowledge Translation and Transfer

Knowledge Translation and Transfer (KTT) is a key part of the OMAFRA-U of G Partnership research program. Agri-Food and Rural Link is the hub for KTT for the OMAFRA-U of G Partnership. The main purpose of the KTT program is to accelerate the transformation of research into use across the agri-food and rural sectors in Ontario. KTT is based on the rich foundation of agricultural extension which encourages the transfer of research knowledge to end users such as farmers and community organizations. However, we are also embracing new technologies, theories and best practices to ensure that current research is meeting the needs and demands of society.
