General Information

The Quantum Information & Geometric Statistics (QuIGS) group in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Guelph is an interdisciplinary group devoted to the research and exchange of ideas in a wide range of mathematical and statistical areas. Group members are active in a diverse set of fields including:

  • quantum information
  • quantum computing
  • analysis
  • operator algebras
  • quantum gravity
  • statistical geometry
  • medical statistics
  • multivariate analysis
  • matrix analysis

Members supervise graduate and undergraduate students, and the working group hosts a weekly seminar series.
