Established by Earl B. MacNaughton, former head of the Department of Physics and founding Dean of the College of Physical Science, and faculty, staff and alumni of the Department of Physics, with the assistance of the Ontario government's OSOTF program. Apply with a completed Financial Need Assessment Form (N.A.F.) to Student Financial Services by October 7. Students will be considered for this award automatically once a N.A.F has been submitted by the deadline date. ACCESS AWARD
Students with demonstrated financial need who are registered in second year or beyond of a major physics program with a minimum cumulative average of 80%. Additionally, students must meet the government-mandated terms for receipt of an OSOTF award (see General Statements on Awards).
