About In-Course Bursaries

Undergraduate

We want to ensure that students complete their degrees, regardless of their financial circumstances. In 2007, undergraduate in-course students received close to $2.8 M in bursaries and need-based scholarship assistance.

Undergraduate students, typically, apply for assistance in the fall semester each year and the bursary is applied to their student account as a payment toward their winter semester.

International Undergraduate

We support International students that are experiencing unexpected financial difficulties. Students should complete the Undergraduate International Student Finanical Need Assessment Form and submit it to the International Student Advisor.

For the most part, International students are eligible for scholarships where one of the criterion states 'financial need'. These awards can be identified in the scholarship listing of awards in the academic calendars and do not include bursaries or OSOTF/OTSS funded awards.

Graduate

In 2007 our currently registered graduate stduents received over $1 M in finanical need-based assistance. The deadline to apply for graduate student bursaries and scholarships where one of the criterion states 'financial need' is January 10. Most of these are paid to students in the winter semester.

International Graduate

We support International Graduate students that are experiencing unexpected financial difficulties. Students should complete the Graduate Financial Need Assessment Form for International Students.

For the most part, International students are eligible for scholarships where one of the criterion states 'financial need'. These awards can be identified in the scholarship listing of awards in the academic calendars and do not include bursaries or OSOTF/OTSS funded awards.
