Deregistration

Deregistration is the removal of all courses upon failure to settle your account in full or make approved arrangement for settlement by the published deadline date (course drop penalties remain in effect).

You will receive an email advising you that you have been deregistered. The tuition and fees will have been removed from your account on WebAdvisor. If this situation happens and you wish to continue your studies, you must contact accountquestions@registrar.uoguelph.ca to obtain the amount to be paid (including reinstatement fees) and get yourself reinstated.

August Deregistration - Fall Semester

-- due to non payment of registration deposit (undergraduate students only)

The deregistration in August is the removal of all courses upon failure to pay at a minimum the registration deposit by the deadline. You will receive an email advising you that you have been deregistered. The tuition and fees will have been removed from your account on WebAdvisor. If this situation happens and you wish to continue your studies, you must pay the $200 non-refundable registration deposit. Once the payment is on your account, which you can view through WebAdvisor, you must re-add your courses.
