Deferred and Supplemental Privilege

Deferred Privilege

A deferred privilege is the opportunity to complete the final course requirements after the end of the semester. The nature of a deferred privilege may take the form of either a deferred condition or a deferred examination. Deferred privileges are granted by the Academic Review Sub-committee on the basis of medical, psychological, or compassionate consideration.

Supplemental Privilege

A supplemental privilege is the opportunity to obtain credit for a course he/she has failed while retaining the original failing grade. Supplemental privileges are granted at the discretion of the Program Committee upon receipt of a request from the student.
