Access for Students with Diverse Abilities

Student Accessibility Services (SAS) facilitates access to the learning environment for students with disabilities through academic accommodation and support services in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code.

SAS provides assistance to students with all types of disabilities, including those that are permanent or temporary, chronic or episodic, and evident or non-evident.

Students will be asked to provide appropriate documentation from a health care professional to verify their needs. If you are a new student with a disability, please register by June 15 in order to ensure any accommodations you require are in place for September. There are a number of important items that require your attention prior to coming to campus. More details can be found at the Student Accessibility Services website.

If you have any questions, please contact SAS at (519) 824-4120, ext. 56208 or accessibility@uoguelph.ca.

We would be glad to help you!
