On February 8, 2018, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) provided notice to the University of Guelph that all paper and/or electronic records associated with agreements awarded by the following, must be retained until further notice from the USDA that the records freeze is lifted:
- Agricultural Research Service
- Economic Research Service
- National Agricultural Statistics Service
The letter asks that the University of Guelph disseminate this letter broadly within our organization.
When we receive notice from USDA lifting the disposal freeze, a new Research Alert will be disseminated to the University of Guelph research community. In the meantime, please do not destroy or delete any existing paper and/or electronic records associated with agreements awarded by the USDA Agricultural Research Service, Economic Research Service and National Agricultural Statistics Service.
