The Steacie Prize for Natural Sciences is a Canadian award presented to a scientist or engineer for outstanding scientific research carried out in Canada.

Eligibility

Researchers must be 40 years of age or less.

How to Apply

Candidates for the prize are nominated by their colleagues.  Nomination packages must be a maximum of 25 pages and include:

  1. Nomination letter explaining why the candidate should be considered for the prize, and giving the candidate's birth date;
  2. A curriculum vitae with publication list; and
  3. A list of names and e-mail addresses of five independent referees with recognized expertise in the candidate's field
