VIP II
Description
Due to high demand and limited funding availability, the VIPII program is near maximum capacity. Applications will only be accepted until August 24 (see Deadlines section below for internal deadline).
Special Notes
As of August 1, the Schedule D - Intellectual Property Term Sheet must be provided upon submitting an application. The Schedule D will form a part of the OCE funding agreement if the application is approved for funding. Please note that the OCE Funding Agreement is standard and modifications will not be accommodated.

If College-level review is required, your College will communicate its earlier internal deadlines.

Internal Deadline | Only researchers who have already started the VIP II application process with OCE and the Research Innovation Office (through Vanja Djukic) will be able to submit their applications for institutional approval. These applicants must submit a complete application package, including the Schedule D (Intellectual Property Term Sheet) along with a signed OR-5 form to resserv@uoguelph.ca. Please note that the Office of Research cannot guarantee approval and submission by the External Deadline if the Schedule D is incomplete or the industry partner does not agree to the terms within the given timeframe. | |
External Deadline | Applications that are approved by the Office of Research should be forwarded by the applicants directly to OCE. |
