Description

Goal is to promote research (acquisition of new knowledge or development of new conceptual approaches) that will improve the status and welfare of dogs in society and encourage investigators to consider this an area of emphasis in their academic careers.

Eligibility

must have obtained doctoral-level, terminal degree by July 1, 2015

Funding Availability

up to $50,000 per year for half-time and up to $100,000 per year for full-time

Indirect Costs

33% for New Fellows and 10% for Fellows already employed 

Project Duration

1 year with a possible 1 year extension

Special Notes

The Foundation will make IRS-equivalency determinations for those candidates who are selected to submit full applications.
