Call for Proposals - Ontario Centres of Excellence, Connections Program
The OCE Connections collaborative undergraduate program partners undergraduate students in Science, Engineering, Technical Programs and other relevant courses, with Technology-based Industry clients, the OCE also has a partnership with Ontario Power Authority to research and investigate specific questions listed in the program.
The application process has an expression of interest, a first draft with OCE feedback that is optional, and full proposal.
Please note that the new application is a Master Application that must be submitted by a Department within the University of Guelph. Each Department must have only one application (may not exceed $75K) and the application will then include an overall department budget as well as a list of the sub-projects with industry support letters.
Each Department that is interested in the program will need to submit a Master application signed by the Project Leader and the Office of Research.

Expression of Interest Internal Deadline: Wednesday, July 4th, 2012
Expression of Interest External Deadline: Wednesday, July 11th, 2012
For those who have not applied to the Connections Program prior to this year, (this is a one page program overview, online). For those who have existing funding thru the Connections Program you will not be required to present an expression of Interest however you will be required to work with your OCE Business Development Manager to confirm eligibility of projects before proceeding with your application.
First Draft for feedback from OCE is due to OCE by August 1st.
Full Proposal Internal Deadline: Friday September 21st, 2012
Full Proposal External Deadline: Sunday, September 30th, 2012
The application and supporting documents are due to OCE (1 file) by email.
Please submit all proposals including a signed OR5 form to the Office of Research by the internal deadline, email is acceptable to resserv@uoguelph.ca.
