Canadian Ornamental Horticulture Research and Innovation Cluster call for proposals
The Canadian Ornamental Horticulture Alliance (COHA) in partnership with the Vineland Research and Innovation Centre (VRIC) seeks proposals from researchers to develop industry focused applied science projects in the theme of “Efficient Water and Nutrient Management”. Successful proposals will be included in COHA’s application to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Agri-Science Cluster program.
Projects of 1 to 5 years in duration are sought that will enhance the economic growth, productivity, competitiveness, adaptability and sustainability of the ornamental horticulture sector. Further information about the RFP is attached below.
Awards are expected to be in the range of $50,000 to $100,000 per year with increased funding potentially available for multidisciplinary collaborative projects in priority areas. All researchers are strongly encouraged to find additional industry partners (cash + in-kind). Proposal submission information is attached below.
