Advanced Analysis Centre
The Advanced Analysis Centre is comprised of a group of high-end specialized research laboratories(NMR, x-ray diffraction and scattering, microscopy imaging, fermentation, mass spectrometry and genomics).  The AAC provides an unequalled range of capabilities for research and advanced education at the interface of the physical and biological sciences.

Advanced Foods and Materials Network (AFMNet)
Connects leading researchers across Canada in areas such as food science, law and ethics, biomaterials and health, and facilitates research on scientific, social and health aspects of food and materials.

Advanced Robotics & Intelligent Systems Lab
Conducts theoretical and practical research in diversified areas, including but not limited to, intelligent systems, robotics, control systems, sensors, and communications. Methodologies are featured with biologically inspired intelligence.

Agri-Technology Commercialization Centre
Focuses on developing and commercializing innovative technologies and products that have an agricultural foundation, including bioproducts (bio-fibres, biooils, and other commercial/industrial bioproducts), clean energy (biomass, biodiesel), agri-health (nutraceuticals, agri-foods), agri-waste management and other agriculturally based innovations that will help establish and sustain Ontario’s leadership position in global markets.

Aquaculture Centre
Co-ordinates research, extension and educational activities to facilitate information and technology transfer to the private sector and contribute to the economic and environmental sustainability of aquaculture.

AquaSanitas - A Centre for Water Safety and Security
Facilitates multi-disciplinary research related to safe water and public health at the national level in Canada. Participates in the interpretation of these findings for policy implementation.

Arboretum Gene Bank
Preserves the genetic diversity of some of Ontario's rare woody plants and Dutch Elm Disease-resistant elms, and produces seed for restoration work.

Axelrod Institute of Ichthyology
Promotes the development of graduate teaching and research, supports international teaching and research, as well as editing and publishing activities relating to fish biology.

Bioconversion Network
Aimed at developing energy efficient, commerically viable and environmentally sustainable biomass conversion processes that generate ethanol and high value co-products; mandated to generate innovations that will accelerate Canada's transition from a petroleum-based to a bio-based economy.

Biodiversity Institute of Ontario
Takes the lead role in an international consortium whose goal, over the next 20 years, is to develop a molecular bar code for every multi-cellular species on the planet.

Bioproducts Discovery and Development Centre
Produces greener bioproducts as substitutes for non-renewable materials in many manufacturing sectors, consumer goods and services.

Business Development Office
Evaluates new inventions for commercialization, develops business opportunities through research contracts, patenting and licensing and transfers results of University of Guelph research to industry.

Canadian Agricultural Trade Policy and Competetive Research Network
Works to improves the economic performance of the agri-food sector through research designed to enhance and better understand Canada’s trade performance and policy options.  The national network provides a forum for researchers across Canada to contribute to informed debate on policy issues and increase the capacity to deliver agricultural policy research through projects involving graduate students.

Canadian Arthritis Network Core Facility
Addresses fundamental questions about the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis.

Canadian Co-operative Wildlife Health Centre
Maintains surveillance and diagnosis of diseases in wild animals as a collaborative activity of Canada’s four veterinary colleges.

Canadian Language and Literacy Research Network
Generates, integrates and disseminates bias-free scientific research and knowledge that is focused on improving and sustaining children's language and literacy development in Canada.

Canadian Pollination Initiative
Addresses the growing problem of pollinator decline in agricultural and natural ecosystems in Canada. Leading experts in entomology, ecology, plant reproductive biology, genomics, prediction and economics have joined forces to explore the full scope of the pollination problem.

Canadian Research Institute in Food Safety (CRIFS)
Fosters links among researchers, the food industry, consumer groups and regulatory agencies to bolster the Canadian agri-food sector through public health protection, enhancement of trade and increased awareness of food safety.

Electrochemical Technology Centre

Genomics Facility/Advanced Analysis Centre

International Leadership Research Network
Undertakes and promotes innovative research on leadership issues relevant to the public, private and non-profit sectors. Focuses on government strategic leadership approaches to develop national leadership capacity in complex contexts. Organizes and contributes to educational and professional development programs in Leadership Studies. Shares expertise in the leadership area through community outreach and collaborative research with other leading institutions to provide a platform for informing policy and strategy decision-making.
