The Foundation Fighting Blindness : Group Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Retinal Research

The Foundation Fighting Blindness, with partners at BMO Financial Group, is now inviting applications for the Foundation Fighting Blindness - BMO Financial Group Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Retinal Research.

This award will support the post-doctoral training of an exceptional scholar at the University of Toronto or at one of its affiliated academic health sciences centres. The successful candidate must propose and carry out a program of research related to the mission of the Foundation Fighting Blindness and relevant to understanding the causes and improving the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of retinitis pigmentosa, macular degeneration and related diseases of the retina.

The Fellowship provides a total of $35,000 for each funded twelve-month period.  The appointment will be for an initial period of one to two years, with the potential of renewal for a third year.
