The OR-5 Research Proposal Approval Form must be completed for all research proposals before submission to research sponsors, and must be signed by the Principal Investigator, the Departmental Chair, and the College Dean before authorization by the Office of Research.
The Office of Research oversees a $158-million research enterprise. The office is engaged in managing grants and contracts, research ethics and communications, animal care services and protocols,
technology transfer, infrastructure and major funding programs, sponsor negotiations, as well as overseeing strategic partnerships, including the OMAFRA - U of G Agreement, among others.
