U of G Research Program Director Dr. Gopi Paliyath
Dr. Gopi Paliyath, B.Sc. Ed (Botany and Chemistry), M.Sc (Botany), Ph.D. Biochemistry; Professor Department of Plant Agriculture. His research interests include biochemistry of fruits and vegetables, senescence, shelf life and quality, nutraceutical ingredients and their cancer-preventive and anti-inflammatory mechanisms of action. Dr. Paliyath has a career total of 187 Research contributions.

New Online Application System
The OMAFRA – U of G Research Program has recently implemented new web-based software, called the Research Management System (RMS), for processing research applications and reporting on projects. You must register in the RMS before you can prepare an application.

Theme Information
There will be two Town Hall Information Sessions scheduled for the following dates in order to address any of your questions related to the Calls for LOI's. Research Program Directors will be attending to respond to inquiries:

- Thursday, October 27, 2:30-4:00, OVC Lifetime Learning Centre, Room 1713
