More Information about Agri-Food and Rural Link - KTT Funding Program
The objectives of the Agri-Food and Rural Link KTT Funding Program are:
- To advance the effective and targeted synthesis, dissemination and exchange of agriculture, food, and rural research knowledge to all relevant knowledge-user audiences
- To expand the networking and collaboration activities among the U of G’s research community and a broad range of partners and stakeholders, including OMAFRA.
- To expand the knowledge base and best practices for successful knowledge translation and transfer implementation.
Agri-Food and Rural Link builds on a long and successful tradition of agricultural extension in the province of Ontario by embracing new and innovative knowledge translation, mobilization, and transfer tools and practices.
The Agri-Food and Rural Link KTT Funding Program is not intended to support traditional means of academic dissemination of research such as scholarly papers and academic conferences. Rather, the focus of Agri-Food and Rural Link is intended to broaden the dissemination of research knowledge to a wider set of audiences by accelerating the transformation of knowledge into use.
