UK Science and Innovation Network Canada launches Collaboration Development Award program

The UK’s Science and Innovation Network in Canada has announced the launch of their new Collaboration Development Award (CDA) program! This program is open to academic and industrial science in the UK and Canada looking to create bilaterial (or multilateral) partnerships.

This program aims to foster bilateral (Canada/UK) relationships in priority areas, building on existing agreements/ relationships such as the Canada/UK Joint Declaration, Joint Innovation Statement, and Polar Research MoU.

Eight awards will be offered, valued  at  £1250 each so scientists, engineers, acadmic leaders and innovation experts can travel abroad for short visits to lay the groundwork for collaborative efforts.

Applications should be completed by both the visitor (applicant) and by the host. 

A signed OR-5 form and application is due to Office of Research (Research.Services@uoguelph.ca)  by August 24, 2012, and to Foreign & Commonwealth Office, British High Commission Ottawa  by September 1, 2012 (11:59 pm EST).
