This workshop is suitable for health researchers across disciplines who are/hope to be CIHR funded, or health researchers interested in improving their knowledge communications.
Workshop 2: 10:30am Build knowledge mobilization into a winning SSHRC proposal
Learn successful strategies for developing and carrying out stellar knowledge mobilization strategies for your SSHRC proposals. Suitable for those applying for the fall round – or those social sciences or humanities researchers wanting to build more knowledge mobilization and translation into their research programs.
Workshop 3: 2:00pm Which online tools will work for your research? Maximizing the utility of research communications tools
Using online spaces for research mobilization is increasingly common. While researchers use websites, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, this is sometimes without full understanding of how online tools can help accomplish their knowledge sharing goals.
Instructor: David Yetman is an international expert in knowledge mobilization, and research communications. His company ItSticks is working on a new software product for researchers around the globe to better connect with each other.
