This website has been established to provide regular updates on the activity of the Presidential Selection Committee.
Community Input Invited on Draft Mandate and Position Profile
The Presidential Selection Committee is responsible for the search for the University of Guelph's eighth President and Vice-Chancellor. Throughout April and early May, the Committee has been gathering input from members of the University community as part of the process of developing the mandate and position profile for the University's next President and Vice-Chancellor.
Drawing from the input received to date, the Presidential Selection Committee has developed a draft profile document.
As Chair of the Committee, I would like to invite interested members of the University community to provide me and the other members of the Committee with their feedback in response to the draft.
This can be done by emailing comments to the Committee’s confidential email or, if you prefer, by attending a drop-in session in the Academic Town Square, McLaughlin Library, on Friday, May 24, 2013 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. During this time period, any member of the University community is welcome to drop by and offer their thoughts directly to a member of the Presidential Selection Committee.
The Committee looks forward to hearing your perspectives and feedback on the draft profile.
