The Senate Committee on Student Petitions assesses and disposes of academic petitions from any undergraduate or graduate student of the University. The committee hears appeals in cases of academic misconduct and hears decisions of readmission if based on procedural grounds. The committee also conducts reviews of recommendations for expulsion and degree revocation, and participates in other matters as outlined in the Committee on Student Petitions bylaws.
