As the graduate secretary for the school's Rural Studies Ph.D. Program, Joanne provides academic support to the Graduate Co-ordinator, students, faculty and alumni.  She is the main liaison with Graduate Program Services.

Joanne is also responsible for the day to day accounting activities of the Capacity Development and Extension and Rural Studies Ph.D. programs.  She also provides secretarial support for several members of the SEDRD faculty and assists faculty, staff and students with room reservations and equipment sign-out.
