community outreach
Our faculty and students are involved
in a number of research and outreach projects in Canada and around the
world. These are some selected projects and areas of research.
David J.A. Douglas
David's outreach activities
are diverse. He is a Board Member of the United Way Community
Services of Guelph- Wellington, Chairs the Social Planning Committee
of that organization, is active in Downtown revitalization issues in
Guelph, participates in many other issues in this community (e.g. the
arts, environmental issues, commercial land use, growth management),
is a Member of the Nature Conservancy of Canada, the Canadian Council
on Social Development, and active in a number of social justice and
international development organizations. With graduate students
he regularly engages in rural community development projects with community
partners across Ontario, and elsewhere.
