Back to Back Mondays -Environment bound book series Monday, November 29th -Laurence Packer author of “Keeping the Bees” .   Laurence will be  reading from and talking about his latest book .  "Why all Bees are at risk and what we can do to save them." **Events are @ Artisanale Café & Bistro, next door to the Bookshelf, downtown Guelph. START TIME IS 7PM Everyone is welcome to attend and admission is FREE.

Thomas Homer-Dixon latest book "Carbon Shift" will be here on December 6th.  "The twin crises of climate change and peaking oil production are converging on us.  If they are not to cook the planet and topple our civilization, we will need informed and decisive policies, clear-sighted information, and a lucid understanding of what is at stake."
