SES Seminar This week -David Kroetsch Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
Mon, 02/27/2012 - 09:55 — jscarrowABSTRACT: Customized Soil and Landscape Analysis: Data Development
There is a need for timely science based soil and landscape resource data development for clients who range from researchers, modelers, policy developers to producer groups. This soil science expert capacity is required for situation and scenario analysis on current and emerging agri-environmental issues at regional and national levels. This requires working with multiple partners to develop agile and customized soil and landscape data integrated with a wide range of ancillary data layers to support expert and predictive soil and landscape property mapping and data development options. Two examples will be discussed; the first in the Waterloo Aquifer study area and the second in the South Nation Watershed in Eastern Ontario.
ALEXANDER HALL 265 - Everyone is welcome to attend.
