Centre for Land and Water Stewardship

The focus of the Centre for Land and Water Stewardship is to support research, extension and teaching related to sustainable use of land and water resources. At present we have a particular emphasis on the impacts of agricultural practices, including nutrient management, on water quality, and an emphasis on the conservation of natural areas by private landowners. These are reflected in the research and extension programs of the two principal faculty involved.

The center is led by SES Faculty member, Professor Stew Hilts.  For more information, see the CLAWS website.
