Management & Conservation
Research and outreach related to conservation and natural resources management ranges across all natural resources critical to the Canadian economy - forests, fish and wildlife, water, soils, and geology. Research includes both basic studies of the nature of these resources and applied studies of different approaches to management of these resources. Although the dominant research approach is in the biophysical sciences, many economic and stewardship studies also include a strong element of social science.
