Mark Green

Mark graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science in 1996. After graduation he worked for a brief period for the Ministry of Transportation on contract. Next he worked for a small environmental consulting company in the Niagara Region. Projects included brownfield/environmental clean ups, industrial wastewater improvements and environmental compliance. In 2001, Mark was hired as an Environmental Technician where he performed environmental monitoring and reporting of municipal storm water and wastewater management programs. Presently he is the Manager of Environmental Services at the City of St. Catharines and his responsibilities include closed landfill management, drinking water monitoring, basement flooding prevention and storm water management.
