  • Environmental remediation through immunomodulation.
  • Large-scale purification of antibodies.
  • Understanding the influence of co-extractants (matrix effects) on ELISA sensitivity and cross-reactivity which requires genetic manipulation of antibodies.
  • Developing antibodies by genetic manipulation that can be used as mimics of enzyme target sites (i.e. ACCase) for rapid pesticide screening.
  • Developing methods for the in vitro generation of pesticide-specific antibodies through recombinant phage technology.
  • Molecular, biochemical, and physiological basis for resistance of wild mustard biotypes to the auxinic herbicides.
  • Basis for herbicide selectivity in weeds and crops.
