Seniority points are earned each time you complete a Teaching Assistant, Graduate Service Assistant or Sessional Lecturer appointment.

One point is earned for each work assignment.

It is important to list an accurate total of your seniority points in your Profile, and to keep it updated.

If you are unsure how many points you have accrued, please contact the department(s) you have taught for in the past.

When applying for a Sessional appointment, please list only seniority points accrued through service as a Sessional Lecturer. When you are applying for TA or GSA positions, please include only points earned through your work as a TA or GSA.

Only Seniority Points accrued through through the successful teaching of University of Guelph or University of Guelph Humber appointments will be considered.

When applying to a Sessional or TA position online, you will be able to upload one file. This means you should save your cover letter, CV, references, and any appended information in one file.
