Applying to a seassional job
If you do not have a University of Guelph email address, please select the "Create a new account" tab.
Upon logging into the system, please take a minute to ensure that your Profile is updated to reflect your current contact information and any applicable seniority points. You must complete this process, even if you hold a Right of First Refusal for the course.
Once you have identified the postings you are interested in applying for, please click "Apply." This will redirect you to an application form, where you can identify your first four preferences for assignments.
The application form is your opportunity to highlight your relevant skills, knowledge and experience. It is important that you take the time to include any points that you wish the hiring department to consider.
A copy of your application will not be emailed to you. Please print a copy of your submission for your records.
Once you have submitted your completed application, you will receive a confirmation email that lists the courses you have indicated as your preferences.
Should you have any questions about your application, please contact Erinn White at Ext. 54337, e.white@exec.uoguelph.ca

Seniority points are earned each time you complete a Teaching Assistant, Graduate Service Assistant or Sessional Lecturer appointment.
One point is earned for each work assignment.
It is important to list an accurate total of your seniority points in your Profile, and to keep it updated.
If you are unsure how many points you have accrued, please contact the department(s) you have taught for in the past.
When applying for a Sessional appointment, please list only seniority points accrued through service as a Sessional Lecturer. When you are applying for TA or GSA positions, please include only points earned through your work as a TA or GSA.
