This course investigates the psychosocial influences and consequences of exercise. Students will examine exercise behaviour, explore intervention approaches aimed at modifying exercise behaviour, and study the impact of exercise on various mental health states such as stress, anxiety, depression, emotional well-being, self-concept/self-esteem, and health-related quality of life. - To view course outlines from previous offerings of this course (if available), please visit: https://www.guelphhumber.ca/academic-services/course-outlines. Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level

Quality and or Recent Research activity in areas relevant to the course demonstrating knowledge of current developments in course content.

Candidates should provide in their application evidence of prior teaching expereince and teaching success/excellence related to course content, which may include a dossier, teaching philosophy, examples of teaching innovations, course developments, evaluations of previously taught courses (e.g., peer evaluations and/or student feedback), reference letters, and any other relevant information they wish to have evaluated by the selection committee (some documents on file in the department or program, such as UofGH course evaluations of courses taught on UofG contracts, may also be used).
