In this course, students will explore the theme of media as a weapon in war and peace. Through assigned readings, films and group discussions, students will be expected to acquire an understanding of the ethics of media use and manipulation. We will consider the development of media propaganda and how it was used during war and peace from antiquity to the present. Special attention will be paid to World War II.
