- Upon completion of this course, students have a basic understanding of the purpose and structure of the Canadian tax system, and its administration, along with related international application. Using problems, cases and tax preparation software, students apply basic knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of income and commodity taxation for individuals and corporations. Masters related to field
and/or Professional Accounting Designation or equivalent
Prior Teaching Experience: 
Successful teaching related to field at college or university level
Required competence, capability, skill and ability related to course content: 
Working knowledge of the principles of personal taxation as formulated in the Canadian Income Tax Act.
