Students critically analyse and interpret specific elements of selected criminal code and federal legislation having an impact on the administration of justice. These include federal statutes dealing with offences related to young persons, firearms, controlled drugs and substances, and various procedural statutes such as the Interpretation Act and the Canada Evidence Act.
