The position requires the knowledge which will allow the safe supervision of students in a laboratory setting. The teaching assistant will need the knowledge and skills to help students learn about the chemical analyses of food; this will require an understanding of both the theoretical basis and the practical execution of analyses.
The ability to present, instruct and supervise the laboratory portions of Applied Nutritional Sciences. It also includes the following: repairing the laboratory for each weeks exercise, laboratory take down, and lab tutoring. Prior to the final, individual will offer tutorial time, and will spend time on exam administration.
