Residence Life Staff is Hiring! Applications are now live on the Student Housing Services website
Minimum requirements include:
- Cumulative average of 65% or higher.
- If previously housed in residence, a Student Conduct History check will be
conducted and must be in good standing with the University of Guelph.
- Certified in Standard First Aid and CPR – Class C (valid through May 2013).
Application expectations:
- Received by the deadline indicated below.
- All questions answered fully and to be the best of your ability.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the what the position entails and how previous
experience is applicable.

Welcome from Student Affairs. My name is Brenda Whiteside and I am the Associate Vice-President, Student Affairs. Student Affairs is committed to developing the person, scholar & citizen. The Division of Student Affairs has eight departments that will help to make your university experience as rewarding as possible. However, what you get out of your education is ultimately up to you. To receive maximum benefit, we encourage you to take advantage of all the University has to offer. We want to enhance your student experience, both inside and outside the classroom. Explore our many service learning opportunities and get involved. As well as being fun, your participation at the University and greater community can help develop skills for the future. While we hope your experience will be positive, we have numerous people to help if you experience difficulty.
