Where Can I Find Funding To Run A Student Event And/Or Travel?
The Office of Student Affairs has funding available to students. For larger grants, there is the Student Life Enhancement Fund in the Fall. Students can also apply year round to the Special Grants/Speakers Fund. Visit Funding Opportunities for details.
How Do I Obtain A Document Showing That I Am A Registered Student At The University of Guelph?
You need to request a 'proof of enrolment'. Simply email ups@registrar.uoguelph.ca from your U of G account. In the email indicate your student ID number and where you would like the information to be mailed (e.g., employer, benefits carrier) or you can pick up the letter at Level 3, University Centre. There is no fee for this service.
How Can I Obtain My Transcript?
Official transcripts cost $10.00 per copy (additional charges apply to requests for courier and/or facsimile service) and students must have met all financial obligations to the University before official transcripts can be released for any purpose. I Need/Lost/Haven't Received My Student Card. What Do I Do?
If you are a new student coming to Guelph, the Office of Registrarial Services will be open on move in day and you can pick up your card or have your picture ID taken during that time. If you have lost your card, the current fee for replacing a student card is $20. You will be asked to produce photo identification to verify your identity. How Do I Start A New Student Club?

What Do I Do If I Am Unable To Attend Classes For A Period Of Time And Will Miss Assignments/Exams?
It is important that you contact your Professors immediately explaining the reason for your absence and to see if alternative arrangements can be made. In some cases you will be required to provide documentation related to your absense. In cases where you will be away for a period of time (e.g., death of a family member) you should also contact your Academic Programming Office for assistance at
