Student Life Enhancement Fund (SLEF)
The Student Life Enhancement Fund (SLEF) provides grants to academic departments, administrative units, and recognized student groups, for new projects or the enhancement of existing services that improve student life. Funding is for the current school year, fall to summer.
The 2015-2016 application template will be available before October 1, 2015.
If your application is awarded funding, applicants will be required to submit a final report with receipts, no later than Wednesday, April 1, 2015.
Special Grants & Speakers' Fund
Both funding opportunities are supported by students throught the Student Services Fee and have been designed to provide funding for initiatives which fall outside of the Student Life Enhancement Fund (SLEF) timeline. Applicants are asked to request from only one of the financial sources: SLEF or the Special Grants/Speakers' Fund. Funds are designed specifically for non-academic initiatives on or off campus, and are allocated to support partisipating in or providing initiatives designed to enrich the student experience. Applications are accepted throughout the year and are reviewed approximately every three weeks by a Committee comprised of a student majority.
Central Student Association (CSA)
As an undergraduate student if you are planning an event, conference, or are participating in an exciting initiative, the CSA has the ability to offer its financial support. Please fill out the PDR request form found on the CSA website and submit it to the CSA Communications Commissioner by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
