About Student Affairs

Welcome from Student Affairs. My name is Brenda Whiteside and I am the Associate Vice-President, Student Affairs. Student Affairs is committed to developing the person, scholar & citizen. Members of the Student Affairs team embrace the following values. These values guide us in all of our interactions, with faculty, staff, students, alumni and external partners.

The Division of Student Affairs has eight departments that will help to make your university experience as rewarding as possible. However, what you get out of your education is ultimately up to you. To receive maximum benefit, we encourage you to take advantage of all the University has to offer. We want to enhance your student experience, both inside and outside the classroom. Explore our many service learning opportunities and get involved. As well as being fun, your participation at the University and greater community can help develop skills for the future. While we hope your experience will be positive, we have numerous people to help if you experience difficulty.
