Consent Workshop with Lusty Day
Guelph Resource Ctr. for Gender Empow. & Diversity

Having the Sex We Want is a no-touch workshop to build our skills around sexual consent, negotiation, knowing and trusting our bodies, and just generally remembering how to safely say yes to hot sex and love for ourselves. Together we will explore how sexual consent and good sex go hand in hand. Using a body-based approach, we will also uncover our individual styles and collective strengths around communicating about sex and sexuality. Expect to reflect on your individual challenges and also institutional barriers to safer sex and consent. All sexual and gender identities are welcome!

Lusty Day is a Toronto-based queer anti-racist writer, community organizer and independent sex worker. She has performed as a member of the performance collectives Whores on Top (Canada) and Debbie Doesn't Do It for Free (Australia). She organizes cultural, professional, and political events by and for sex workers. She also leads workshops on anti-racism for white people, healthy consent making, and on working in the sex industry. You can find her work at www.lustyday.com and in her zines Whorelicious, Fang It and I Saw Your Ad Online.
