This unit in Classroom Technical Support remains abreast of emerging technology and its application to teaching in university classrooms, labs and meeting spaces.  Planning and designing a fully integrated facility considers:

• needs of the users,
• ease-of-use,
• good sight lines for the users,
• control of ambient lighting,
• acoustics,
• brightness of projector,
• internet connectivity and,
• universal design principles.

Our Classroom Technology Designer is certified by Infocomm International   and can assist departments in

• technology design,
• room layout,
• window treatment,
• equipment selection, purchase, delivery and installation.

A typical multimedia system includes

• ceiling mounted video/computer projector
• sound system
• presenter station with installed control system, DVD/VCR player, electrical, network, laptop and projector connections
• screen(s)

Ongoing Support

By requesting CTS as the integrator of your multimedia system you can avoid unnecessary delays and costs.  Our rates are not only competitive, but we can provide you with backup equipment (based on availability) for up to two weeks at no charge while your equipment is being serviced or repaired.  Because our staff are certified by Sanyo and Crestron, projectors and control systems can often be repaired in our shop saving you time and money.
