Quizzing With CourseLink


 

Interested in incorporating quizzes in your online course environment?

 

This session will start with a brief discussion focusing on pedagogically effective use of Quizzing with CourseLink involving the theoretical framework about "quizzing as learning".  Experiences, suggestions and tips will be shared.

During the hands-on "how to" portion of the session, participants will:

    • add the Quiz tool to their coursesite
    • create a basic quiz
    • create, edit and delete various types of quiz questions in the question library
    • set quiz parameters such as auto-grading, time limitations and multiple attempts

     

NOTE: Please come prepared with at least 5 quiz questions on a usb key (or email it to yourself).  Suggested question formats: T/F, Multiple Choice, Matching

 

 

Eligibility:

Instructors who have attended a CourseLink Starter Kit

or

Those who are familiar with basic functionality in CourseLink (i.e., loading content, creating news items and setting up grades).
