Bounce Back is a support program offered in the winter semester for students in the first year of their undergraduate degree who earned an average of less than 60.00% in their first semester on campus. Students who opt-in to the program are matched with a student mentor who works with them one-on-one to identify the source(s) of their fall difficulties and connect them with the appropriate resources.

Bounce Back was jointly developed by units within Student Affairs (Centre for New Students) and the Office of the Associate Vice President, Academic (Undergraduate Academic Information Centre). Its initial offering in the Winter 2007 semester was funded by an Ontario Government Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities' First Generation Grant. It is currently administered by the Centre for New Students.

For more information about the Bounce Back program please contact Monica Munaretto (Coordinator for New Student Advising & Transition Programs in the Centre for New Students).
